由於BN改換了驗證方式，所以免cd也改換了方式.如果要登錄bn的請運行War3TFT 121 NO-CD kenshin.cmd進入．
如果要玩浩方或者ｖｓ的話，（運行過War3TFT 121 NO-CD kenshin.cmd這個程序）請把war3.exe 改成war3.121 把war3_exe改成war3.exe
因為浩方或者ｖｓ要驗證war3.exe進行遊戲．不能加載War3TFT 121 NO-CD kenshin.cmd．而War3TFT 121 NO-CD kenshin.cmd是通過命令行修改騙取ｂｎ驗證的方式．它進入遊戲會吧破解補丁換回war3的原程序．所以運行過War3TFT 121 NO-CD kenshin.cmd的話直接進入浩方會提示你插入ｃｄ．所以浩方或者ｖｓ要修改下．下次如果要進入ｂｎ的話還是運行War3TFT 121 NO-CD kenshin.cmd就可以了．

Important Note on Patching for Mac Players: The file layout inside the game folder is changed significantly by Patch 1.21. As a result, in order to be able to install the Frozen Throne expansion from CD, you must install Reign of Chaos first, then install Frozen Throne from CD, and then patch to version 1.21, in that order. If you patch to v1.21 and then attempt to install Frozen Throne after that, it will not install correctly.
對Mac用戶，因為1.21補丁後文件的存儲位置發生了改變，所以如果需要重新安裝魔獸，請按照混亂之治，冰封王座，1。21補丁的順序進行安裝，在已經安裝過1.21補丁的魔獸目錄中覆蓋安裝冰封王座會出現錯誤。
