"A patch for Warcraft III is still planned to go online by the end of the year, addressing various AMM and hacking issues. The balance suggestions created on the Warcraft III thread has also been summarized and sent to the team working on this patch as well.
When I get word on a more concrete date you may see the patch, I will let you know asap. I know there has been much demand to get the next patch for Warcraft III, so I personally do appreciate your patience.
And trust me, there is no reason I wouldn't want to get you guys more info on the new patch, so when I get it, you will get it

在這位暴雪官員表示年底前魔獸1.22補丁一定會出，在BN論壇收集平衡性的帖子也繼續開著，但具體時間沒有定。
雖然時間不確定，我們也看到了暴雪在1.22上也作出了一些努力，10月15日－11月16日，暴雪開展了地圖收集比賽，這點來說已經很明確了，暴雪想要在新版本推出新圖，從目前的情況來看，很多不平衡也是產生在地圖優勢上，就算修正了一些單位，整體的平衡性還是很難實現，在一些地圖上會或多或上的偏向某個種族。
除了這個之外，暴雪Ladder新賽季也一直沒有開始，顯然是在等新版本，如果這個時候開始的話，我們只能對廣大Fans說抱歉，暴雪不可能在賽季中間發補丁，而離上賽季總決賽（8月Blizzcon）已經有將近3個月了，暴雪不可能讓賽季拖更久，因此按照小編判斷，暴雪1.22補丁的推出時間將是11月底－12月中旬，如果這個時候再不退出，暴雪只能繼續他跳票王的「美譽」，但是我想這次地圖大賽的舉辦時間不會是平白無故的，我們也希望暴雪拖了這麼久的1.22能給廣大玩家帶來一個滿意的答覆。
